The 2nd International Conference on Natural Computation (ICNC'06) and the 3rd International Conference on Fuzzy Systems and Knowledge Discovery (FSKD'06) will be jointly held in Xi'an, as a sequel of ICNC'05-FSKD'05 in Changsha, China. Xi'an, the capital of Shaanxi Province of China, known as Chang'an in ancient times, is famed all over the world. Because of its rich historical culture treasure, advanced art, geographic priority and science resources, Xi'an seats top of the Six Ancient Capitals in China, as well as one of the four World Ancient Civilization Capitals. Many famous tourist attraction in Shaanxi include Emperor Qin's Terra-cotta Museum (the eighth Wonder of the world, also a world-class cultural heritage site listed by the UNESCO), Hua Shan Mountain, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda,Huaqing Hot-spring and Shaanxi History Museum. Xi'an International Airport is easily accessible with direct flights to all major domestic and most international destinations.
ICNC'06-FSKD'06 aims to provide a high-level international forum for scientists and researchers to present the state of the art of computational algorithms inspired from nature, including biological, ecological, and physical systems. It is an exciting and emerging interdisciplinary area in which a wide range of techniques and methods are being studied for dealing with large, complex, and dynamic problems. The joint conference will also promote cross-fertilization over these exciting and yet closely-related areas. Register the conference will get opportunity to entitle a participant to the proceedings and technical sessions, as well as the conference banquet, lunches, and tours in Xi'an.
